Crumbed Calamari
One
of our most popular products used extensively by hotels, clubs,
restaurants, caterers and seafood outlets.
We
use only premium quality squid tubes and process in a natural &
efficient & manner to retain its superior texture &
tenderness. Delicate handling throughout ensures the products
subtle ‘nutty’ flavour, natural tenderness and fine
texture.
To
compliment the premium squid we have developed our own unique
coating technique to achieve a perfect batter and crumb adherence.
Our product is given a light coating of the highest quality
predust, batter & Japanese style breadcrumbs to produce the
most delicious & tender Calamari rings on the market.
To retain its quality
advantages Calamari should never be overcooked as this can
toughen the product and we recommend a frying time of 30
seconds at 180 degrees C. Our calamari rings are loosely layer
packed with separation via plastic sheeting to enable the product
to be used without defrosting the complete carton
contents.
